I’m a freelance editor and publishing consultant based in London. I specialise in commercial fiction and have extensive experience editing and publishing bestsellers.
Hi, I’m Siân.
My Services
As an in-house editor, I specialised in crime and thrillers but I love working on all types of commercial fiction from sweeping historical novels to twisty psychological suspense, from heartwarming romance to atmospheric police procedurals. It’s vital to have an editor who understands your genre and readership so I only take on projects I’m confident I’m a good fit for.
All of my quotes are bespoke and we’ll always agree a clear brief and fee before progressing any work so you can be confident that you’re getting the best service for you.
If you have a project you’d like to discuss or for a quote, please do get in touch. I’d love to hear from you!

About Me
During my career in publishing, I’ve worked at large traditional publishers like Hodder & Stoughton and agile independents like Canelo and Joffe Books.
For the last six years, I’ve been an editor for commercial fiction, with authors including Bookseller Heatseeker Hannah Hendy, Sunday Times bestselling author Sophie McKenzie and digital bestsellers like MJ Lee and Darren O’Sullivan. I have worked with experienced authors, published bestsellers, launched the careers of debuts and discovered previously self-published writers to bring to new readers.
I’m a firm believer that editing should be a collaborative process. My aim is to understand the story you’re trying to tell and make sensitive suggestions using my experience from years in publishing to make your novel shine.
Whether you’re hoping to secure an agent and a traditional publishing deal or self-publish, I’m looking forward to working with you.
